Build

Insane Roguelike winner. The build idea is mainly based on (Delmuir 2021), with my understanding of steam tinkers.

Races

Cornac for extra category point.

Stats

in early games, Will / Cunning to get talents unlocked. Then will > cun > dex > con.

Use equipments to unlock skin to reduce the need of putting points in con.

OWS is quite useful for survival so maybe next time I'll delay inscription slot until the Wyrm.

Prodigies

Adept
+1.5 is super useful.
Master of Disaster
After curved, it's 10-20 bonus to mindpower, with a helpful proc.

Class Skill Categories

Force of Will

1/2/0/0 early ASAP, then 1/2/1/3 ASAP, then 1/5/1/5, then 5/5/5/5 in late game

As the cited guide says, Deflection is super defensive, and Unseen Force is the main AoE button (its push back also helps against melee warriors, which are your biggest threaten)

Willful Strike is okay at 5, but not really worth the turn.

Blast is useful to use before Reproach if there are too many mobs.

Darkness

1/1/0/0 in late game.

Maybe it's useful, but the build is decent enough without this tree.

Shadows

5/5/5/1 ASAP, 5/5/5/5 at late game because nothing else to put point into

Punishment

floating at early game, 5/5/5/5 at mid game

Reproach is the main attack when usable, which has very short CD.

Hateful Whisper deals a huge damage to the main target. Use it when usable and reproach is not usable.

Agony deals DoT to and only to the target. Its range is super far, so it's a useful choice if the above 2 are in CDs and you are not melee to your target. Otherwise maybe just bumping.

One with Shadows

1/5/4/3 seems enough.

1 Heavy Armor Training when you have a decent equipment that require that to wear.

1 Light Armor Training when possible.

5 Thick Skins in mid-late game as usual.

Antimagic

1/1/3-4/0 before Tempest, 1/1/3-4/1 after Tempest, 2 in Resolve if you get Adept

Physics

Chemistry

1/0/0/0 Before getting materials for Water Slave, then 2/0/0/0 (with Adept).

Also, if you want Unstoppable Force Salve (you need Fiery Salve, which is very likely only possible after Euran), 3/0/0/0 + Adept + Brass Goggles.

Try your best to get AM at this level. Strategy against the last blight guy:

  • get as many heal abilities as you can
  • deactivate shadows before entering, and reactivate & use "Focus Shadows" immediately after entering
  • let your shadows deal with it
  • stay away from it, predicting where it will potentially cone into (likely your shadows), and don't get caught by that
